Description
Monkey Drum for Hire
This small Eastern drum has a handle and is double headed. It has two pieces of string and attached to each is a small wooden ball. If one turns their wrist backwards and forwards the wooden balls strike each head quickly producing a (generally uneven) popping sound. There is limited use for this instrument and it only occasionally crops up in film music or jingles. Ironically enough, monkey's struggle to use these instruments.
